6 Monate Noah

Ohne Zweifel, Noah ist das hübscheste, süßeste und cleverste Baby auf der Welt. Jaja, alle Eltern glauben von ihren eigenen Kindern, sie seien die Besten, das hab ich schon mal gehört. Aber in unserem Fall muss ich sagen, es ist wahr! Alleine die Tatsache, dass ich ihm stundenlang beim Schlafen zusehen könnte, waehrend sich die Wäsche und das schmutzige Geschirr türmt, ist der Beweis.

Gut, man sollte dazusagen, dass diesbezueglich der Blickwinkel etwas verzerrt ist, muss man doch darauf hinweisen, dass ein Baby die Welt wohl ganz und gar anders wahrnimmt als ein Erwachsener. Und, auch die Welt nimmt Babies anders wahr, und, ja, sie nimmt auch deren Erzeuger anders wahr. Seit wir unseren kleinen Noah haben, hat sich unser Leben schon etwas geändert. Wir werden ständig von fremden Leuten auf der Straße angesprochen, danke Noah! Am Markt und in der Bäckerei merkt man sich seit Jahren nun erst unsere Gesichter, danke Noah! Wir gehen zum Joga-mit-Baby und ins Eltern-Baby-Kino - wir gehen öfters ins Kino als vorher! Danke, Noah!

Und wie steht es denn jetzt um den Kleinen?
Er isst einmal pro Tag was G'scheits - obwohl er doch der Meinung ist, das was auf Mami's und Papi's Teller liegt ist noch viel g'scheiter (vielleicht weil man dort noch Originalform und -farbe erkennen kann?).
Er kann schon beinahe ohne anlehnen sitzen - wenn er mit dem Mund einem Spielzeug folgt dann kippt er noch nach hinten, auf die Seite oder nach vorne (er hat noch nicht gecheckt, dass sein Mund eigentlich seiner Hand folgt, da sie ja das Spielzeug hält...).
Er mag keinen Schnuller, weiß nicht was damit anfangen, versucht ihn schlussendlich ganz in den Mund zu nehmen, mit dem Plastik (leider führt das dazu, dass er nicht alleine im Bettchen liegend einschlafen mag/kann; leider führt das wiederum dazu, dass Mami den Busen hinhalten muss, oder Papi den kleinen Finger.)
Er experimentiert mit Vokalen (vorzugsweise A) und Konsonanten (z.b. M und P), was manchmal in Kombinationen endet, die MAMA und PAPA aufhorchen lassen :-)
Er ist eigentlich immer happy, lacht alle Welt an, seine Augen sind braun geworden, sein Haaransatz hat er vom Papi, ansonsten soll er anscheinend mehr der Mami gleichen; er weint, wenn die Mami den Mixer benutzt um sein Essen zu zerkleinern, er weint auch manchmal aus Solidarität, z.B. wenn sein Freund Vincent weint. Seine Lieblingsspielzeuge/-tiere heißen Jordi, Otto, Ganesha, Leo, Bienele und "Bienele, das in einer Blume wohnt" (letzteres können wir wohl irgendwann für seine Aufklärung wiederverwenden).

Es gibt sicherlich noch tausende Sachen über Noah zu erzaehlen, jeden Tag kommt was Neues hinzu, was er kann, macht, wie er schaut, reagiert, sich bewegt... aber wir lassens jetzt mal dabei. Am Besten, ihr lernt ihn einfach mal persönlich kennen, dann füllen sich die Lücken von alleine - und alle jene, die ihn öfters zu Gesicht bekommen, die lieben ihn ja ohnehin ganz so wie er ist.

Günter's 40th birthday

Ok, I'm not traveling a lot, lately. that's maybe the reason why this blog is like an orphan. nobody feeds him. maybe I could explain why it is like that... I should probably find some gooood excuses.

well, here is one: I am working a lot. after months of job searching I decided to create my own working place. actually, it has created itself: it's the streets of Barcelona! sounds greasy? not at all. in 2006 Barcelona had about 6.700.000 tourists. in 2007 there were 400.000 more of them! so, my friend Maite and I decided to get right to the point and launch a company offering city tours. that's what we are working on since end of march. website is nearly ready, flyers are going to be printed this week and the tour is already inaugurated. so look out for Stay in Motion.
a looooot of work, I can tell you. we hope, it works out fine.

excuse number two: I have a lot of hobbies - most of them have their own pages and blogs, as you might know. I do restoration of furniture (EN: woodened, DE: verholzt) and a lot of photography (din_bcn at flickr).


but you get a bonus for waiting so long: you like creativity? you like to get inspired? let me share some really cool webpages with you, so you get inspired and do your own art work or whatever!

1a) Escher and the Droste effect: this is a wonderful page where the Droste effect of Escher drawings is analyzed and recreated.

2a) have a look at the Packard Jennings projects: you may need some time to check all his projects out but it's worth it!
he says on his page:

6a) if you had the luck to stay in our guest room, you might know that we love stencils. you can do cool stuff and to get an impression, here's the stencil revolution page. its tutorial part is down because of legal problems, I assume.

6b) one of my favorite stencil artist is C215. you can (could?) find some of his stecils on the streets of Vienna. he also collaborated with the Children at Risk Foundation spraying stencils in the favelas of Sao Paulo.
